Hi! I’m Debra Anazonwu, author of "How to Write Your Residency Statement in One Day: A Practical Guide for U.S. and International Medical Students and Graduates."
Despite my last name, I’m a native English speaker. I hold a Master of Science degree and teach English as a Second Language at a small U.S. university.
Over the years, I’ve helped many international students and medical graduates refine their residency statements. I’ve learned that the key is unlocking personal stories and telling them in a compelling way. I often conduct phone interviews to help clients find or expand on their stories.
